You are probably right with him not signing in Detroit. He is 32 and I don't think he will sign a 1yr deal even for $10M he will be looking for a several yr deal. Ya that is fair I would like to see that trio, but I doubt it happens. Yes, he's having a good World Juniors run, but he hasn't really proven himself in the AHL yet. I don't know if Yzerman will want to bring him up this early when his stats are: GP 29 G 5 A7 and +/- -22 (That's almost AA bad for +/- lol)

I agree who knows if he will even be ready. I also no AA doesn't have a whole lot of value but he is very fast and why sell low when he has a couple of years before he is a UFA.

Oh believe me I know. The amount of AA trades I see on here makes me so mad. Yes let's trade him when his value is at his lowest ever. That makes sense! I don't think it will be bad it may only be one year. Right now there isn't a team more invested in seeing him play better than Detroit and he knows that. Especially if a team doesn't have to give up much to get him. Look at Tatar Vegas gave up 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd and he barely got a chance and he hasn't scored less than 20 goals a season after his first season.
