I know. The top 6 should contain Marchand, Bergeron, Pastrnak, Debrusk, Krecji and a trade acquisition. The 3rd line should be Heinen, Coyle and one of the prospects who wins it

Josh Anderson has 1 goal.

The Bruins should not trade their 1st rd pick.

Also - I have to think if NJ had any interest in Moore, they would have just signed him.

The bruins should trade their first round pick. This is likely the last year of Bergeron being a true number one center. Go for it.

Thank you.. Finally someone has got it.

Palmieri for a first? Hard to decline at the moment...

I agree. I just think Anderson is a better fit for the Bruins.

Jersey defense stinks. Moore isn't that good either but gives them some depth and a familiar face at a relatively low cap number.

He was in NJ. They had could have signed him. Rarely (if ever) do teams pass on signing on of their UFA and then trade (give up an asset) for 18 months later.

I'd take Anderson over Heinen any day. Tough and skilled 3rd liner. Heinen pops one in every now and then and is decent defensively, but he's always outside of the play, doesn't get his nose dirty like the rest of the bruins. Too soft. Anderson would be a big step up and a million dollars cheaper.

I mean, that’s just bonkers. That’s like saying a 3rd round pick would be a better fit for the bruins than a 1st rounder. I’d love Anderson on the team. Removing heinen to add him would be pure insanity.

There just isn’t a word of this that is true. Actually, that’s wrong. Anderson is tough. The rest reads like you’ve never watched a bruins game.

Oh, I don't know. He will produce for another couple years, for me it's all about health, which is a huge issue, so you could be right. But because of that an Krejci's age/contract status, I am not trading a 1st for anything but a potential #1 center.

You don't watch the Bruins do you? That dude gives up the body to make a play more than anyone else on the Bruins. He literally always makes the right play. He is twice the player Anderson is. If he could ever finish...

Who would you rather have in the playoffs on your 3rd line with Coyle and Bjork let's say... Anderson or Heinen?

Heinen.

Go back and watch Johansson and Coyle's goals from last year. Literally every single one of them started with Heinen doing the right thing.
Here: he pushes the puck deep to Coyle and Breaks. catch aerial pass, lifts stick while staying on side and floats a beauty to Johansson. Heinen was literally the only one covered.

There’s no centers out there. Bergeron is slowing down and breaking down. It’s quite clear in my opinion. Load up, take one last shot at it. Regression is coming for at least a season

I did. They can get the equivalent of Senyshyn and a 1st for Palmieri. They don't need to take on a player and contract they chose not to take on.

So do about 50 other defensmen in this league.. That's not an argument.
