It's this mindset that makes me feel like we should just keep him on a good contract if we can get it. It looks like he's got a role that he's happy with and that gives him the opportunity to succeed. He's been outstanding for us since he's got here. In the end, I think it's worth keeping him past the TDL to see if he performs to the same level and then try to get a team friendly deal. I'd even be okay with a slightly higher AAV for 1 or 2 years. Or take him to arbitration.

But what do I know?

i think the right move is keeping strome. regardless what bloggers say the guys a good player. although, if a team wants to overpay for him id be willing to part with him.
