Price doesn't have that value anymore because of his cap hit and also the length of his contract... He's also not the goalie he used to be..

Please justify why you think Carey Price is worth what pretty much amounts to 4 or 5 1st rounders?

but he hasn't been the same over the past 2.5 seasons and no longer dragging and carrying the Habs to being an average team...so other teams need to trade all their top assets bc Price is still good its just the D core thats bad in front of him...have Hab fans told you about high danger shots yet? They are a crazy bunch

I think Price is still an amazing goalie. But all three goalies making 10M are apparently fighting for two playoff spots in the Atlantic division. Or just one if the Leafs get going. Behind Boston. Who have Halak. smile

Price has gone from Elite to Average goalie, he is a victim of Father Time as well. His days as the top goalie int eh world are over but dont tell Hab fans that bc last year players voted for him as the best goalie despite what he has done on the ice lately....still means he is elite in their eyes

Fans of most teams think they have the best goalie. With all the ups and downs of sports there's usually a stat to back it up.

I think the Avs have at the very min, a league average starter in Grubi who has decent stats since becoming one. Thats good enough to win in this league yet there has been way too many if Avs want to win the cup, they need to trade their whole prospect farm for Price, that makes 0 sense
