Diehard leaf fan and active pens watcher.

This trade doesn't make sense from sides so wouldn't work.

Leafs will risk over paying another potential RFA with mccan if his production continues. Solution is good for this year but the rest will be a problem.

The leafs CAN fail this year if they so wish and be WAY better next year. That starts with cheap depth in players like mango for long term.

Now it doesn't make sense for pens because they have a construct that works. With crosby at the forefront with the gm I doubt he doesn't soeak up and dislike this trade. "If it aint broke dont fix it" and he is a good player for the pens.

In theory good idea but in practice wont work out.

As soon as I read it I thought about potentially having a kid in the stands screaming "I'd rather go undrafted, Mr. Dubas!" ??
