I could see it being right around that as well. Who knows what the cap will be when his contract is up, this could pretty much be the equivalent of an 8 mil contract now, which would be a steal.

Makar will be 23 in the first year of his new deal, I think hell probably sign for 8 mill x 6, makes him a UFA at 28. He could probably get more, but I think Colorado will be like boston where everyone is taking discounts. Rantanen contract already looks like a steal

It's not happening until 2023, it might well be higher than that.

Crosby's current deal was 14.5% of cap. If cap is $90M in 2023 that means MacK will be earning $13M.
