Why wouldn't Vancouver be interested? They get a goalie (granted overpaid) who can be a beast, and probably the best goal scoring prospect in the nhl. I know demko projects to be good but come on.

What you're leaving out is that Pettersson's extension is coming up. Having a sudden increase in cap over all of this time makes it very hard to maneuver the team. Pettersson's starting offer should be 10M. There's no room for an 8.5M goalie during the bulk of that contract.

Still, we're not taking Eriksson to justify this. Let's just leave all players involved in this w/ their respective franchises and carry on.

that was my thought. VAN has 2 very capable goalies for half of Price (combined lol).
