As long as people understand that there are like 4-5 things that would have to happen before a Pietrangelo trade would ever go down, it can be an interesting discussion to see what people think is fair value. Especially in relation to the never-ending Parayko proposals - it would take about 100 things to happen for him to be moved.
Good teams especially true contenders don't like to weaken their teams for a Cup run, even if it means a UFA leaves the following summer. Parayko/Dunn you think they are untouchable due to their contract term and control. Most teams with deep playoff aspirations like to go with 7 or even 8 NHL capable Dmen. So the Blues even trading a 5th, 6th, 7th Dman for a forward.....Well that forward would have to be really needed. First place Blues, might one of few teams that is happy with what they have.
