We have absolutely no use for Barrie. He's a great player but I don't see a point in bringing him in. Kapanen would be good here but meh, don't want to give up assets for him either. He'll get in the way of signing our guys next year.

That being said, the value is clearly in the Isles favor, so I'd probably say yes to this.

hahaahhahaha this is too funny you want a 40+ pt defense , i know currently he is not playing very well but im sure he will com around and a forward who scored 20 goals last season 44 pts and is currently on pace for that again this season for 2 guys who together totaled 24 pts last season?? no thanks i would rather trade those 2 for 1 decent player than 2 below average ones.

Mayfield contract is great so yeah I would probably do it if added a 3rd as well.

That doesn't make your proposal any better though. This is a common thing on here. A fan will see a fan of another team make a trade proposal that is just silly and one sided, that happens all the time and every fan base has an element of that. What a smart person does is ignore those ones. What happens more often is you see something like this in response. Just because someone makes a bad trade, you posting another one almost as bad doesn't make yours look better. Its still a terrible proposal and I am sure you know that.

I’d see a bunch of different forwards as better fits for the Isles than Kapanen. Particularly Pageau.

Barrie would be intriguing if he were an LHD. But we emphatically don’t need RHDs, if anything we need to shed one to make room for Dobson.
