It's amazing the direction a team can take with competent leadership! Ladd would have been activated and in the lineup under the old regime. I also wonder if this means we may see Koivula as the 3C Saturday, with Brassard clearly better on the wing these days. Easy move would have been to send Otto down to activate Ladd, but this move is the right one if it means Otto is the new 3C.

Feel bad for Ladd tbh. Took him a while to work his way back from a string of injuries and now he’s on his way to being out of the league. I still think he’s got something left in the tank, but not for a team as deep as the Islanders.
