If he had at least one more year on his Contract, I probably would have considered a straight up deal. I have always like Tatar.

Sure they would have piece that would be added. I think that tatar, poehling and a second round pick would be a close deal. Skjei is a good defenseman, he isn’t elite but would be a nice addition to any defensive squad. As for the rangers they get a solid prospect who is nhl ready and a top 6 forward as well as a second round pick that is chicago one this year so it would be between 31 and 45 pick but most likely in earlys 30

And he won that trade by a miles. Subban isnt playing at a elite level and he was traded for a second time. Weber has been rock solid he isn’t spectacular but he is efficient. He brings leadership, he might be the ultimate captain right now around the league with chara, crosby and toews

Weber has played better. More so regarding the Contract. That Contract won't age well, while Subban would be gone sooner.

I don’t think it will be a problem. I see weber as a chara, in a near futur he won’t have the same amount of duties but will still be efficient. And if he retired before the end of is deal it’s Nashville that have penalty on the cap so its not that bad

Skjei is a little upgrade to Chariot @ 2More Million a year... I like him but not at Drouin cost...

I would say yes to Tatar, top 6 forward under contract for 2 years (MTL would have to add a pick to that trade I believe)

I don't believe MTL need to add anything... Skjei is a TOP4 D but more like #3-4... same with Tatar... one on one is fair
