I think it makes sense for both teams. Isles need a 3c who can win face-offs, generate offense, and play well defensively. Komarov is pretty bad 5 v 5, but he is good on the pk and he's a good "locker room guy" FWIW. Isles clear cap space and sens get a 1st rd pick in the 20-31 range. Dal Colle is still young, the only thing he really excels at now is shot suppression but sens can be patient with him.

Pageau is the perfect player for the Isles system. He'd really thrive there. (Speedy, defensive, productive, and big playoff guy)

I'd much rather see the Sens sign him. But if they can't, this is the package that I would want to see.

The fact that he leads the league in +\- while playing for the senators is incredible.

He has a Modified no trade clause im pretty sure he can only choose 7 teams that he can’t be traded to.
