Description

Obviously JC's defensive "play away from the puck" coaching system isn't working in Chicago. He seems to have this twisted idea that he can force the players on this team to become Power Forwards, Two Way Forwards, or Grinders like he was. Chicago has been an offensive power house since the first cup run in 2010. It's not really reasonable to change the entire coaching system after 7 years of "get in the zone and make pretty plays." That's what Patrick Kane, Dylan Strome, and Alex DeBrincat are getting paid to do. I think a coach with an Offensive System like Mike Sullivan, Peter DeBoer, or Todd Reirden. Those are all teams that purely outscore their opponents and they do it very well. I don't know who would be an available coach for this team. Could someone compile a list for me of potential good fits for Chicago? If you are up to it, also a GM list. Bowman is annoying.

There are 2 possible scenarios for Sheldon Keefe. Either the Leafs make it to at least the 3rd round this year or he becomes the Maple Leafs head coach this Spring

This is 100% true. But if they do make it to the third round and keep Babcock, a NHL team is definitely offering Keefe a head coaching job.

I don't think they respect him, and nor should they, the 'core four' have been through hell and back winning cups together. This guy in his 30's is going to walk right in and implement his own system that's proven obsolete? And he's going to change the entire coaching staff including hiring an assistant he used to coach with in a Swedish league (Which is lightyears away from the skill level of the NHL). I just wonder when Bowman's last day is, because it has to be soon.
