GMJR should seriously be on the hot seat. I know Malkin was out tonight, but it's crazy how, average the Pens looked. Shouldn't be happening to a team with Crosby and Malkin. But their supporting cast (minus a few studs) is seriously lacking

I don’t think it’s that the supporting cast is bad...the forward group is incredibly deep. The real issue is they don’t have a ton of talented defensemen to push the play up the ice to the forwards. That was the pens claim to fame during the back to back run and GMJR absolutely ruined it by bringing in Johnson and Gudbranson.

Okay? What about the long run, like the playoffs? If you guys even make the playoffs. Could say the same for the Pens. ?‍♂️

I think this team needs to stop reaching if they are going to salvage anything. I'd rather they simply dump players for cap space at this point.





They need a new coach. This team has no urgency. There is no fight in them. They are just out there collecting a check at this point. Only a few of the young guys are playing for something. This team does this every year. Then they actually come to play toward the end of the year. It's like they can't be bothered the first 2 months of the season. The only problem is, the rest of the league is catching up to them.
You add that to the fact that they need a new system and it's a disaster right now. They been playing the exact same system for 5 years now. It's not working.
