Helm you can have but Detroit isn't trading Bertuzzi or Cholowski. Detroit picked Bertuzzi 53 overall NHL had him ranked 207 among NA skaters. Detroit has been grooming him since Uncle Todd was still playing for Detroit. Cholowski was Detroit's best D prospect before Seider and he's the power play QB Detroit has been looking for. The biggest reason this will never happen is DROUIN Yzerman can't stand him and I'm sure he feels the same.

I was just trying to add toughness and I'm a Bertuzzi stan. I don't feel like it is a terrible deal for the Flyers. The Flyers have a giant surplus of prospects wasting away. Some of them we will eventually lose for nothing. We need to dump that JVR contract and to dump long term expensive contracts of a player who doesn't play up to it is to attach draft picks or high level prospects. Keeping Farabee, Frost, Ratcliffe, York, Allison, Zamula, etc. Keeps the prospect pool rich. We have a lot of long term deals in place, eventually we run out of roster spots for these prospects. Plus, Bertuzzi is an underrated player in the league.

If anything The Red Wings would be the team that doesn't do it to exactly @aedoran point. He actually explained why he thinks there is no chance.
