A good nhl center can do 3 things. 1) protect the puck. Bryan little can not protect the puck he’s to small and gets knocked off the puck very easily. 2) create opportunity’s for line mates to get open. Also does not do this as he is to small and needs line mates to open up ice for him. 3) be smart in his own end a centerman is your 3rd defenceman in your own end. This is where he strives but if you’re only good at one of these theee things you are a 4c on this team. Lowry is also very solid and I don’t know why you would think he belongs on the 4th line that seems like a swing and a miss for me.... he rarely spent any time in his own end last year although losing tanev will certainly change that a bit as he was a big part of that line. But sure 4c or 3c for Lowry either way he doesn’t need his ice time adjusted.
