Signing barrie and Anderson is a bad idea

I'm curious to hear why you think that, I've heard lots of us saying that Barrie is the RD "of our dreams" I think we could get good value from at least 3/4 of Freddys next contract and Barrie is nice and young. Having said that if Sandin or Lily prove themselves as replacements then everything changes.

Because barrie puts up so many points he will want a big raise. He isnt good defensively without the puck but signing him would be fine but he will want so much. Signing aging goalies to long term contracts isnt good. He could probably get close to what bob just got and that contract ismt going to end well. In a perfect world Robin lehner puts up numbers close to what he did last season and the leafs are able to sign him to a contract around 6ish million so they can trade Anderson for assets or a defenseman to replace either barrie or muzzin
