Murray took over a last place team with the best prospect pool and extra draft picks and departed leaving a last place team with cap problems, no extra picks and one of the worse prospect pools in the NHL. dude, relax. This clearly a fictitious exercise being that it's an Arm chair GM. It's for fun. Stamkos also did make it to the talking period and met with 5 teams right before UFA in his agency's office in Toronto. The Sabres being one of them. He was literally 7 days from UFA...that's pretty close if you ask me.

I am so happy he is gone, he was the worse GM in Buffalo history. Some GM's floundered but he destroyed the franchise.
