Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Gudas trade- Probably downgraded a bit player wise, but a culture change was needed in the locker room and Niskanem brings that. B-
Braun trade- Overpaid, but we did need a DFD RHD, preferably a vet, but didn't like the price paid. C-
Hayes- Really needed a 2C with a good two way game, which Hayes provides. Contract is probably a bit much though. C+
Draft- Got good value trading down, drafted for skill, didn't really reach on anybody. Solid job. B+
RFA re-signings: Like the Provorov and Konecny contracts, locking them up long term at a reasonable price. Sanheim bridge deal expires when Nisky's contract does, which is definitely ideal. A
AV hiring- Needed an experienced coach with good offensive philosophy. Still too early to judge this hiring completely, but AV has been saying the right things. B
Elliot re-signing: Wish we moved on from him, as his injury history poses a risk. Didn't need to risk that. C-
