New coach Dallas Eakins won't play depth forward Derek Grant over former first-round pick Sam Steel. LW's will be Rakell, Comtois, Ritchie, Shore and DesLauriers in some order, and RW's will be Kase, Silfverberg, Sprong, Terry and Sherwood in some order.

Projecting this year's line up for ANA is a bit tricky b/c it will likely depend on a lot of youth infusion. The kids will likely be called up and down throughout the year to give them all a shot. That said, the opening night line up looks something like this imo.

That is definitely the top twelve. I think the major determining issue will be how much Eakins thinks Kase is ready to play. Should he be eased in as part of the recovery plan, or is he ready to go full-time from the opening whistle?
