I know for a fact that an Offer Sheet is the best option to keep the team and get Laine, but since Bergevin and Cheveldayoff have a good relationship apparently, I wonder what kind of trade options would be doable around these two players

Danualt is a 3rd line center on any other team, and petty is a borderline top 6 D-man on other teams... Besides that, they mean they want the 2nd C or top 4 D plus something else (like a prospect or a pick, he is still worth a lot!

You saying Danault is a 3rd line Center when he got Selke votes, and Petry is a top 6 D-man is proof you underrate these two highly underrated players.
I also said in the trade comments what else would need to be added to these trades to make them realistic and fair.

That’s a bad take. Danault is one of the most underrated centres in the game. Def a 2nd line centre

Domi is a better all around player than Laine right now ...so no a trade for Laine doesn’t start with domi.. a package starting with Danault or Petry can get you Laine, if you think otherwise then you have no idea what you’re talking about

No, you don't know what you are talking about man... Laine had one bad year, he is still worth A LOT. You are looking at domi and a 2nd or late round 1st for Laine rn, or at least they should be

I don’t believe danault is a real fit in wpg, to get laine, somebody legit in top 6, that still has potential to have some bigger years, ie drouin. Then potential that doesn’t need to be protected at expansion draft, ie brook, Suzuki, poehling. And a draftpick that makes sense to make it all work. Imo something along the lines of the haul that got evander Kane to Buffalo. Drouin brook suziki and a pick, would be my hope coming from a jets fan

So even if he is a borderline 2nd liner or a real 2nd liner, you are still looking for at least a prospect and a first round pick with him or petry... Laine may have had a bad year, but he is still much more valuable than that lol... Think about what the bruins gave up for Rick Nash (granted that it was a bad trade), but that's about half of what Laine is worth lol

This is it... maybe take one of the prospects out, but thats what I have been saying (a full time top 6 forward (not borderline), a prospect, and a first or 2nd rounder (or 3rd if the other two are good enough) ...

No he is a one dimensional player he can score (which I know is big) but when you’re lazy in the defensive and neutral zone than you don’t have as much value the guy puts in minimal effort outside of the offensive zone .. sure he can score 40 a year but his lack of effort and defensive play has been the cause for just as many goals in a year.: people need to stop looking at stats and actually watch players play the game

Danault and Drouin ruin too much of MTL's top 6 imo. I'd be content with losing one, a top prospect not named Suzuki or Poehling (ideally) and a few picks

Lol don't worry bud, I watch him play... He hit a sophomore slump (as many player do) and he was VERY lazy! But that doesn't drop his value from "former second overall pick" to "lazy bust" worth a boarderline 2nd to 3rd line center lol ... I know what im talking about lol don't worry. I have no reason to overrate Laine, just trying to be more realistic than this post is
