Gallant was part of the coaching staff that put Galchenyuk and Gallagher with Prust to protect them.

Glass could still play 14 minutes on the 4th line (10-12 mins ES + PP time)

But gallagher and galchenyuk wasn’t playing fourth line. And the fourth line doesn’t p’ay often 12 minutes a game. With pp and pk its hard for the fourth line to gets minutes even strengh most of the time they take their minutes on the pk.
For the best interest of glass he should play 20 minutes in ahl to keep developing

I don't necessarily disagree with this.

I think ultimately McCrimmon wants Glass to spend another year in the AHL dominating it and filling out over next summer, but if he's lights out in preseason, especially on the Power Play, he'll probably force his way onto the roster.

The plan is probably Nosek at 3rd line LW, with Roy centering the 4th line.
