Capitals is my team, but what fun is it to be interested in the league if you don't have a decent idea of your opponents?

This is my outside look for the Blue Jackets line-up. Is it reasonable or do you - fans of the team - see other likely line combinations or pairings at defense? Who's got that special chemistry with another players etc.

Despite the slow RFA situation, I assume Werenski will sign. I only gave him a one year deal, but it's just for the purpose of building this roster.

I figure there will be a place for a rookie in this line-up, and I guess it's Texier's place to lose. Emil Bemstrom would be the biggest competition, but the right-hand side is highly competitive in Columbus.

We have the same lineup

Only thing is that with Gavrikov, they now have 7 D that need to/should play and Kukan who isn't bad. Never have enough depth but

And Milano should play in the NHL/or just be sent to the AHL. He is NHL ready I think, just needs playing time and a spot.

I hesitated before putting Gavrikov in, because he doesn't need to go through waivers to be sent down to Cleveland. Kukan and Clendening must, as well as Milano. That might weigh into things in the last days of training camp and pre-season.

Torts has said in an interview that Foligno will start the season with PLD and Atkinson & Nyquist will be on Wennberg's wing to start the season as well. He stated that if Wennberg Fails that Texier will get a look at center. I think Gavrikov starts in Cleveland & Milano will get a long look since he has to clear waivers. I am amazed he has not been traded but his brush with the law this off season probably killed any remaining trade value he had. The rumor for Werenski is a 3 year deal between 5-6 Million.
