Description

For Marner to sign for any length of time, someone has to go, and Nylander is my choice. TML gets three 2nds from what will be a bad team for the next few years (so essentially late 1sts), a discounter Kovalchuk (who should be able to score playing with Johnny T and Marner), and a young winger with a ton of scoring potential.

LAK gets a young forward to help the rebuild.

Or, and I am just spit balling here, they are either late 1sts or early 2nds and that is all they are.

As for this post, there is not enough words to describe how mind blowingly bad this is. Nylander is a top line winger and one of the best players at driving play in the league and is only 23 years old. 3 2nds could be 1 or 2 decent depth players, Kovalchuk is a camp dump and has 2 more years of his contract left despite him not even being a NHL caliber player anymore. This is just terrible.
