I’ve heard a lot of hype about this kid but I know nothing about him. Vegas fans is he good or what is his deal?

Pronman has him in the "has a chance" tier on this year's farm system rankings. Was a really good player for St. Cloud State last year, but not a lot that is guaranteed to translate to the NHL level.

He reportedly got 30 contract offers before he signed with Vegas. Could be part of the reason he hasn't signed yet.

If I remember correctly, he came to an Isles rookie scrimmage a few years ago and was an absolute stud. I forgot about him until he signed with Vegas, but he supposedly has looked really good the last two years and Vegas has high hopes for him. Makes sense Vegas was scouting him since McPhee probably worked for the Islanders that year. I'm rooting for him.

He was at MTL & Vegas development camp, that's it. MTL were almost sure they'll land him because Charlie Lindgren was is goaltender and Poehling was on is team. He choose Vegas

Interesting, then there was a guy with a similar name that was great in a camp I went to haha. Either way, I like St. Cloud State as a hockey program. I went to Quinnipiac and we played a really fun game against them in the 2013 Frozen Four.
