Doubtful Puljujarvi can demand that much money, and I don't know if Edmonton even would match because he refuses to play for them! And as of right now they wouldn't be able to match that and stay Cap compliant, they're projected to have just over $2M in space
Also I'm pretty sure Tkachuk is demanding north of $9M but those are just rumours

EDM has the space to match when you finalize their roster (Manning and Brodziak down), but wouldn't because Pulju is not worth it. I'm sure EDM would love to see Calgary screw their cap over. Why the hell would Cgy want to do this lol.

Yeah for sure. There are other options but this could be a risk that pays off. Worst case you've traded a 2nd for a player that is actually a bust and never devlops into a top 9 forward. Best case, he develops into an elite winger like he was projected. Ill take that for a 2nd all day
