Quoting: Copenhagen
How about Nuge for Tkachuk and Batherson or something along those lines.
No. Wouldn't trade either for RNH and even something else like a 2nd or Puuljarvi
Anyway, moot point as the Sens are not looking to trade younger pieces for older pieces

What about White or Tkachuk, do they have the potential to be a #1 centre? ( this isn’t rhetorical I actually do wanna know)
Tkachuk = LW
White = will be a good 2nd line center, if he is not groomed as a Winger.
Norris = will be another good 2nd line center, I personally think he'll be better than White.
Chlapik = Could be a 2nd line center, most likely a 3rd line Center or maybe even Winger (probably on another team because of number's game)
There's also Pageau and Tierney who are still young and good 3rd line Centers.
Logan Brown = 1st line C? 2nd? 3rd? Huge potential, not clear exactly how good he is going to be at the NHL level
And the most important :
The draft picks the Sens will have in the next 2 drafts. The 2020 draft is going to be filthy so they should get away with a very high end Center prospect there.
Don't think they should sacrifice 3 very decent/good prospects and a 1st round pick that we have no idea where it will land (Sharks could miss the playoffs and win the lottery). The two first the Sens have in the next draft are basically untouchable, unless it would be to get a young established star. But it won't happen anyway as Melnyk is not a position to hand out contracts like it would take for Marner, for example.
I am not doing the trade in the OP at all.
