Detroit trade would be interesting but Lehkonen is valuable as a defensive prowess, so it would depend on where they could use Bertuzzi.

I don't know if the Rangers take that, I think they want to go for the playoffs and getting rid of Skjei wont help them.

Kulak is more valuable then Pool Party alone, so that ones an easy no.

DET rejects that trade no doubt.

Ya I don't know enough about Bertuzzi, he looks like a top 6 left winger but they have sent him up and down, guessing because of his lack of consistency?

He has been in DET for over a season and a half now and finished the season on the top line after Nyquist was traded. They aren't moving him.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Are you seriously saying a guy that was put on waiver last year is more valuable than the 4th overall pick in 2016? How hi are you?

not high at all, I simply watched him all last year play on the second pairing and be very good with Petry. Together they were MTLs top pair and put up good numbers both statistically and in advanced metrics. Doesn't really matter where they were drafted, depends on how they actually play, and right now Kulak is going to be a reliable top 4 defenceman, Pool Party is coming off hip surgery and no one is sure how things are going to turn out. So ya, Kulak is more valuable then Pool Party

High as a kite. Noted

A classic case of a Hab fan overvaluing crappy players in a trade to get prime assets. You need to watch other teams play more...

Once again. Kulak was put ON WAIVERS A YEAR AGO AND NO ONE PICKED HIM UP! If no one wants him for free, EDM for sure wont trade their only valuable trading chip for him.

Comeback in the real world.

yes and then traded to MTL and played 20 minutes a game with very positive results.

Lets dumb it down for you,

one player spent the last half of the season playing top 4 minutes and having a positive impact.

the other could barely play in the NHL and ended his season in the AHL still struggling.

Saying that because Kulak is worst because he cleared waivers isn't a valid argument when he went on to have a career and showed he can play in the top 4.

One is on his way up, the other is turning out to be a dramatic bust. You can look at just about any statistic and see that, but Edmonton fans want to live off his 4th overall value that's fine, explains why teams aren't even giving up a 2nd round pick for him.

Brière was a waivers
Bryzgalov was a waivers
Byron was a waivers
Even Recchi was taken by Atlanta as a waivers

So waivers doesn't always mean you not good
