I just see Stephen Weiss all over again when I see turris, notice Weiss is still being paid by this team

neilsen’s isn’t that bad. Abby’s is worse. Neilsen is putting up 30+ points and better +/- the. Abby. Also has one less year then Abby.

For me, it’s this exactly. That plus the logjam then at centre. Nielsen and Turris would be fine, but then having Helm, LGD and Abby as well, we won’t be able to get rid of all of them. I’m already counting on Helm and Abby being scratched or injured. Can’t be scratching 3 forwards. The other option is no young guys in the lineup, I don’t like that idea either. We already signed Filps, no room for another vet forward unless we unload our guys (like you did in this trade). Just would prefer not getting two back, if it’s just Turris, maybe. Need Svech to get some chances. But having all of Nielsen, Turris and Filps is maybe just too much still.

i would think Yzerman will at least move one of Neilsen, Helm, or Abby before 20-21 season
