imo if everyone plays like last year definately however i would not guarrentee it tatar domi drouin danault armia lehkonen petry and kulak all had years WAYYYYY beyond expected what are the odds that domi is really a 70 point centre or danault gets selke votes or tatar hits 60 points again

Gallagher, Tatar and Domi could all scores 25+ goals. While Drouin, Danault, KK and Byron should be in the 15-20 range so a good offensive depth if everyone is healty ! Hope Shea can play a full season. If there is an injury in the top 9 Suzuki is called up from Laval so again I love the deph. Their is no Superstars like our divison rival (Matthews,Tavares,Marner,Bergeron,Pasternak,Marchane,Stamkos,Point,Kucherov,Barkov,Huberdeau to name a few...) but NYI and CAR show that offense by comitee works

I say maybe the habs battle for the final spot just like last year..

I expect a downgrade (pts) for Domi and Tatar but Drouin, Lehko (lack of %goal/shot), Byron (injured), Armia (injured), KK and Poehling can all have career high if they play the full season. I expect Danault and Gally to be the same (25-30 goals from Gally and 40-50 pts two way game from Danault).

Also it might seem strange but last year our 4th line was garbage and cost us some games in the midseason. I would be more confident in a Lehko-Cousin-Weal 4th line than Hudon-Peca-Deslauriers. More scoring from the 4th line will help. Remember + 2pts is maybe the difference beetween playoff or not !

Tatar-Danault-Gallagher was solid last year

Drouin-Domi-Poehling eventually RP will rotate into a Center role for Domi Longterm

Byron-KK-Lehkonen was solid before Byron's injury brought together the Finnish line

Cousins-Thompson-Armia brings Size and Possession NT good for 1000+ faceoffs and 100+ hits , Armia 6'4 making him effective along the boards cycling pucks and Cousins Niche role is same as Shaw's an Agitator in the goalie's crease

Weal as floater there to relieve anyone from Poehling to Lehkonen down to Cousins or Thompson .
he's versatile but like Shaw he's a winger who can win 300-500 faceoffs a year but he's no Center like Thompson has carved out a Career being .
someone always gets hurt and Weal will step up forcing a trade if he plays half as well as last year . (its soon time to move on Tatar and this could provide that option sooner then later . )




Poehling on 2nd RW with Domi and Drouin
Domi will start at Center with Poehling rotating in for Draws
over the course of the Season Poehling will take the Center Role if he gets hot

the idea is to give both KK and Poehling the best chance at a standout year
KK needs to work on his overall game doing the polishing at the NHL level that Poehling took the time to in the 2 years since we drafted him putting on 40 pounds of muscle while addressing his offensive issues ,conditioning issues and speed issues in that time . (surgery helped , tonsil surgery discovered a blockage in his nasal cavity they removed and a few months later he takes top player title at the WJC among his peers including all top 5 picks in this years draft )
