I understand the frustration by littlejerry. having skinner long term, is he going to be any better than last year. Johansson seems play better on good teams. then you still have the 6m man okposo.
the optimism is the sabres young players will get better. still looking like a non playoff team making even for a few years. the bills are looking good for buffalo fans.

What would you offer for Nick Leddy in the isles

Nothing. We have 11 nhl defensemen already

Leddy would be a great addition, Buffalo could use another LHD. Did you have a trade in mind?

We have 5 LHD

We have 2 NHL quality LHD, Dahlin and McCabe. Leddy is better than Scandella, Hunwick, and maybe Pilut.
I would definitely listen to an offer and see how it fits into the current roster.
I could only imagine Leddy as our #2 LHD, Buffalo would finally have a playoff quality defense.
Edit: after I hear his reply, then I will see how it fits and put together a team.

We are over the cap and have 5 LHD. Why pay someone over 5 million a year, plus the cost to acquire them, when we have 5 LHD already?

They should have let Larssons and Girgs just walk and not offered either a contract.
