Problem is u have 2 great players and a winger who’s good but wouldn’t be the same without sid. Other than that the forwards are all 3rd it 4th liners. And they d core isn’t horrible but also not strong

Letang and Malkin both missed a decent amount of time last year, and losing one of them is big loss for the Pens. If they are healthy all season they shouldnt have a problem making it.

That's also part of the issue with Letang Malkin Crosby and Murray... Have any of them ever, in their entire careers played a full season without getting hurt... Plus every team has to deal with injuries, I don't think the pens were in the top 5-10 man games lost last year

D core underachieved last year. With Pettersson seemingly being poised for a bigger role I'm not as worried as some... If he plays more JJ plays less, win win.
Horny is a 20 goal guy. Kahun was a 40pt rookie. Gally should be 60pt area, maybe more. McCann looked great in PIT.
We should have a good PK, this seems like a disciplined team on paper.
