I honestly debated even having Wolanin on the list. He's arguably not even a prospect anymore. That said I still think he's higher right now because he's already top 4 material. I think JBD should be a better player long term, but Wolanin being so much closer to being an impactful player at the NHL level that I'd put him higher. The same reason I have Hogberg as our top Goalie prospect when Sogaard and Gustavsson have higher ceilings.

This is why I like the Callahan trade.

A lot of these prospects are ready to take the next step. But having all these prospects play in your line-up makes it hard to hit the cap floor. Adding players to the LTIR allows Ottawa to play their prospects NHL minutes. It's about developing, not winning.

Also, Lassi Thomson has been a big surprise for me! I didn't like the pick at first but WOW has he impressed me so far. So much skill
