No way id trade White for this. I dont know if id want anyone off this roster for White tbh well besides Chytil, Kakko, Kravtsov who they obvs will never trade

Ottawa is not trading Colin White. He's the kind of guy you want leading this team out of the rebuild

that trade is horrible for the rangers unless you are including Staal with no retention

Probably need a combo of Strome, Adam Fox or another first round pick (that second round pick is almost guaranteed to become a first) in 2021 or 22. I think Sens view White as their future first line center so aren't going to give him up for nothing. Ottawa could also take some cap back in Staal.

I agree they should say no, but giving up andersson + namestnikov @ 41% retained + georgiev + 2nd is a complete overpayment for another cap dump in MacArthur (ltir i believe but still) and White.. Rangers would need to gain something for giving up Andersson in the deal as the rest should be enough (although Ottawa doesn't really need a goalie, you guys have a good prospect in Gustavsson just give him time to adjust to NA ice.. he's still only 21 and for a goalie that's still a young prospect

We have Andersson, Nilsson, Condon as the old guys althought Andy and Condon are gone after this year, Nilsson gone the year after. We also have Hogberg, Gustavsson, Daccord, Mangolese and Sogard

Hes our top centre right now. Hes a solid 2 way player who can get 50pts each year

Rangers aren't trading Fox, they just traded for and signed him. And there is no way that you get a 1st anyway if there were going to trade Fox. He's one of the top defensive prospects not in the NHL yet

He's just good at everything. He's got dangerous speed, he's a smart playmaker who can shoot too, and he's got great defensive positioning away from puck. He's unlikely to ever be a true 1C, but he can easily be a 20-30G, 50-60 P 2C.

Yeah doesn't have breaking speed or an insane shot but he does everything right, doesn't really have a weakness but doesn't really have a defining skill.

The games against Toronto are the playoffs for us
