As a Sharks fan, I would take that, because we need a RW and y'all need a cap dump. That's a good trade for both sides

I do appreciate you trying to trade Kreider to a new team here....but the reason we don't see many deals to Arizona is because it's really a terrible match.

Hayton is a good start but I don't think Coyotes put him on the table...and that's it.

Kreider for Hayton + Demers + conditional 2nd is as close of a deal I can come up with. Fischer is not great and neither is Westerlund. Really a testament to Arizona's poor drafting the last few years.


For the Sharks, I think a player like Suomela has more use for us.

That was my thinking behind it. Solidifies the sharks top 9 with a guy who can play wing and center. Low to middle prospect and a pick isn’t a big ask

Problem is Arizona doesn't have the cap space to take on Kreider without making other moves,

What would it take to send Kreider to SJ ? And we'll take Strome as a cap dump too if needed

Merkley + Suomela + conditional 2nd (2nd that becomes 1st if Kreider resigns) and he's yours.

I tested it beforehand from the Arizona side and they can fit him and have 7 d with a million to spare. They have the hossa deal still but it goes on LTIR

I proposed one the other day of Melker Karlsson with merkley and a second that would upgrade to a first with an extension. Think Chmevski would be a high interest player too
