Description
I saw Backes for Ryan on here (I think props to Bcarlo25 are in order for that) and loved that option for the Bs.

Ryan is 3 years removed from his last 20 goal season, but in his healthiest season since 2015-16 he got back to 15. I think him on a line with Bergy and Marchand and you could see him climb back to that 20 goal line (if he stays healthy).

Miller and Moore become cap casualties to teams that could use defensive depth and don't need the help immediately to start the season.

I've seen quite a few people putting Bjork on the 1st line to start the season in their lineups, and I definitely think he can end up there, but I think starting him with Coyle and Heinen could be great to get his NHL legs back under him. He is with 2 strong possession players who can take the pressure of the board play off of Bjork, who might be hesitant after his multiple shoulder surgeries.

I would swap Studnicka for Bjork, but this is awesome, and very close to my ideal bruins team.

I think I would at least start Stud in the A. Let him get used to the size and speed of this game. Definitely could see him over Bjork during the year though.

How about:
March-Berg-Heinen
Debrusk-Krejci-Pasta
Bjork-Coyle-Ryan
Nord-Kuraly-Wag

Not sure Ryan can play with the 1st line at this point.

some guys just don't need it, and I think he's one of them. He's played a bit in the A. Point per game regular season, not a big deal. I think he only has like 8 or 9 games under his belt, but he's played above the OHL before internationally and in the AHL. See how he looks in camp. I wouldn't be surprised if he was their top line wing. Kids a stud.

I like that. I just felt like maybe stick Ryan up there and see if he can play close to the skill he used to have.

Would you drop Ryan down to 3rd and Bjork in the A in that case?

in that case sure. I don't think Bjork is much of anything.

Because of the shoulders? Or have you always felt that way? I still think he holds top-6 skill but it all depends on how he comes back from these surgeries.

I always felt he looked good on that first line but just had jitters from the concussion and shoulder injuries. I think this year would be his last shot before Stud, Lauko, Steen look to make the jump.
