IMO, MB should move his pieces according to the team's most pressing needs:
1. Add one or two top-2 wingers
2. Prepare post-Markov era
Before July 1st, he deals for Wiercioch, who's a proven young (and cheap?) top-4 LD. Emelin becomes expendable and is traded to whomever.
Comes July 1st, he's got about 12M$ to go UFA shopping. He goes after Stamkos, Okposo and Lucic. If Stamkos lands somewhere else, he also goes after Hudler and Perron.

Assuming he lands both Okposo and Hudler, the team would boast a contender-caliber roster for at least 2 years.
