betting on himself after 20 + 40 + 56 seasons ? What do you think he will mass this year ? 100 Points and demand 7 x 11M ?

Bridges for his current kind of production are 3 x 4M....ask Kerfoot

I actually filled a report to FBI....

And here's a perfect example of a not smart person. 1) Likely thinks he can score more with more minutes this next season, now that Pavs is gone. 2) $3.5M isnt $4M 3) Labanc would likely get less than 3.5 x 4 because of the Sharks cap situation this year and Kerfoot is considered a more complete player. 4) He waits one year and gets 50+ points again, he'll be looking at a $5.5M x 4-5. So that's and additional $3.5M more than Kerfoot over the same 4 year period. 5) The Sharks will be able to afford him on this deal when about $7M in contracts come off the books in 2020, and it gives Doug flexibility this year to fill out his roster. 6) This is how you build competitive teams year in and year out.

Actually, why didn't everyone just vote no to show how pointless the poll is? laugh

Edit: I get that CF does this every time, and it just keeps it consistent/easy, i'm just joking around. This is an awesome website and i totally get why there is a poll.

This signing makes Timo Meier's contract look like horrendous overpayment.

Maybe Labanc wants to be the next Captain? or just an FU to Pavalski camp.

Kevin "Lucky" Hayes 19 G + 36 A = 55 points ------ 7 YEARS $50,000,000
Kevin "Poor" Labanc 17 G + 39 A = 56 Points ------- 1 YEAR $1,000,000

Should we wait until that Contract is confirmed ------- that cannot be real

Still not good enough to get Trash Reaves numbers like nearly 3M a season smile... Maybe if he had 9 goals w/ 3 PP he would have got paid... I'm glad to see Sharks get a break, going for that last bit of the SCF and championship smile. I figure he is betting on himself expecting a season to give his next arbitration eligible contract in that Reaves money range or 3M or maybe even higher wink...

you literally said the bridge is 3 x 4M. Kerfoot recieved $3.5M. 15% ($500K) is no small overstatement. You keep digging your "I'm not a smart person" hole.

Thornton probably offered him his house for $1 with his wife as a performance bonus. He really wants that cup.

Those hockey wives are pretty hot in certain cases or the puck bunnies wink... Its funny for a guy whose name sounds like bank he sure didn't cash in or make it on this contract wink. The bank would foreclose if this was a loan hehe smile... Just figure living where he does w/ that tax rate this is like making 250K before factoring cost of living etc wink.

What a horrible overpayment. This makes the Hayes contract look amazing.

I actually don't think it's too bad for the Sharks. I mean, it's not as good as the Seabrook contract, but it's pretty good value for the Sharks IMO.
