I think a fair trade would be what you offered minus a 1st. otherwise why not just OS him at 8.545 for a 1st 2nd and 3rd (Assuming that is too high for WPG to match)

Bracco was drafted in the 2nd round, but is an "A" prospect so its essentially 2 1sts (an actual 1st plus Bracco) and a 2nd (Korshkov)

"A" prospect? Definitely debatable but he has good talent.

As for the trade value to this post, I would think Connor could fetch more, no? Back to back 30+ goal seasons at 22 years old. You should receive more than 2 prospects who haven't even touched NHL ice yet. Draft picks make sense though. Maybe instead of 2 prospects, how about a young player that has seen some NHL ice time before and has good upside along with the 2 first rounders? I don't know just spit balling. Long story short he's worth a lot

To be fair, he is worth what someone will pay for him. My analysis is based off of the idea that WPG wouldnt match an offer sheet of $8,454,870 (5 years). This would give WPG one 1st, one 2nd, and 1 3rd. So in reality the return would be about the same as that unless he signs first.

A 1st is a 1st. Bracco is much more valuable than a 2nd and a 3rd combined and Korshkov is icing on top. WPG could obviously decline this too though.

As far as Bracco not being an "A" prospect. He was a 1st round talent but slipped due to being small (Sounds like Debrincat). He now has proven that he is one of the top players in the AHL (2nd in scoring) and is only 22. He would have played top 6 on a majority of teams this year but he is stuck behind Nylander/Marner/Kapanen and he isnt a bottom 6 player so it makes sense to give him more time in the AHL for the leafs.
