Exactly. Why not go somewhere and play more PP time. He could be a more prolific scorer somewhere else. Why not NYI? Just to name one team.

Great deal for Vegas.... surprised somebody didnt provide a better opportunity to move up the line up (better chance at padding stats- getting bigger contract). or more $$$.

I don't get why the player signed this deal? Trash REaves was among the leaders in games played for Vegas like top 3-4 players... He had 3 goals on the PP out of his 9... So I just don't get it, he wont get a fair shake w/ Goon Gallant as the coach... Its like trying to play a BEta on VHS, hopefully he can get traded at deadline when VEgas is in dead last to a team that will let him play ? Either way he is better than most of what Vegas has on 3rd/4th line not to mention blue line haha... Too bad they can't move him to defense to show them how to score some points .
