the owner is the same guy who fought for a Houston Expansion and lost to Seattle .
within days of that he bought Carolina Hurricanes and began making changes centered around Aho.

likely he intends to keep him but he did give the league a 5 year committment to Carolina before talks of Relocation could be visited and letting Aho go would bring him a step closer towards being able to let the team go to Houston a market as big as New York for Sports .(even as the 5th ranked Major league by proxy the NHL would still stand to make a ton more money in Houston then Carolina )

For sure even if aho stay in carolina i would like a transfer too houston! Even quebec would be a better market then carolina! The arizona coyote, the florida panther and the hurricane of carolina are not good market! Could see a team move too houston, baltimore, Hamilton maybe cleveland! But still id love too see aho in a habs jersey

Dont forget jacob Olofsson the Swedish Forward who grew up near the boarder
he could be one of the half million Swede's living close to the boarder who's dad married a Finnish woman .
near Pitea, Sweden where he's from is one of the main area's near the boarder where most of that Finnish speaking population live.

Olofsson's a stud , so good he drug his junior league team to he SHL by winning the Relegation Tournament on his Performance . Once at the SHL level it was quickly evident that the team wasnt good enough as a whole to be there but he earned recognition from one of the top SHL teams the past 10 years and was picked up by them where he'll continue to become a powerful checking power center .

Claude Julien always prefered a system built on Europeans,a few americans and 60% Canadians . Since coming to MTL our draft focus has shifted to fit that dynamic backing off the Russian prospects hard(Romanov being the exception)

No i follow every prospect and Olofsson could become a nasty 3 line center like jordan staal! Romanov will be a good def but i think that Khisamutdinov will be a total stole i saw video of him he got nasty stuff! A great shot good hand and very good speed

Love offer sheet wars but the 2nd tier offer hardly put Carolinas feet to the flame. No brainer match. Now let’s hope we see more sheets being signed!
