Not sure why they wasted a pick on him. He is already 20, they couldve signed him for nothing if he remains undrafted- which there was a good chance of happening.
The NHL should consider adding an 8th round, still many decent prospects out there remaining.

Timmins said that there would of been competing offers from other teams for him. They drafted him to ensure they get him.
This is probably due to them losing out on Barré-Boulet last year.

Montreal is going to get is back anyways. It's happened for 3 straight years. Also, Montreal has 9 picks next year already.
