He'd be a fantastic fit, but that third year of the deal is the big question though. Makar, Landy, and Grubby would all be up for raises

Yeah this is how i see our free agency going as well, i don't think we're going to be in on over paying for someone for a long term and giving pavelski that for 3 years isn't bad. I do wonder if we will bring back ghetto though, being a healthy scratch in big games is never a good sign. If we don't get pavelski i could see us trying to weaponize cap and possibly eating the marleau or clarkson contract to get another first as trade bait.
