Why

Are you serious ???
I think just the 2nd for Miller + Clarkson contract would make it (still I'll pass lol) Does all habs fan have forgot about Julsenn or what ? When healty he can play on the 3rd pair and has the potential to becoming petry replacement (not offensevely but a solid top #4)

I disagree I don’t think juulsen is that great he’s makes so many mistakes and brings nothing offensively... Miller can be dangerous and has an amazing clapper.... who cares about one year of clarkson on the LTIR for 2 years the habs didn’t use all their cap space pretty sure Mr.Molson can cough up the extra money for a year

Winnipeg declines. This doesn't make any sense. Jets might be listening to offers but they are not going to trade a young Ehlers AND young Roslovic for older players in Shaw and Petry. On top getting Petry and Shaw by trading Ehlers will worsen their "cap hell situation". Both Habs player make 9.4 M while Ehlers makes 6M

Your trying to make the playoffs and all the teams around you are getting better (flyers) are making so many moves and probably will make the playoffs Columbus probably won’t who knows so it’s going to be tight and instead of having a juulsen that hasent played in almost a year I’d rather maybe overpay for a guy who can log in close to 20 without any problem and being me 30+ points a year so that’s why trading juulsen isn’t that bad of an idea he might have the potential to be good but the window to make the playoffs with Weber is literally closing so why wait and hope juulsen becomes somewhat decent when you can get a 26 year old vet that will do the job and bring some offfense as well?

Julsenn is 22 and has played 40 games in the NHL
How can you be sure that he "doesn't bring anything offensevely and makes mistakes" !! The guy was 21(in october) !!!!
D Takes more time to devellop. Do you know how old was Chabot this season ? 22, like Julsenn if he would have played

As of right now the jets have a projected cap space of 25M so by taking 3.4 they still have 22.6 to sign laine,Connor, pionk (main guys)
Laine 10M let’s say
Connor 7.5
Pionk will most likely get a bridge at 2,5-3

Leaves them with 2m in cap space that’s wothout moving kulikov or other players like Perrault

Wait what you think are window is with Price and Weber ?
Ahahahaha! No our core is made of : Domi, Drouin,KK,Poehling,Suzuki,Mete,Julsenn,Romanov.
You honestly think MTL should go for the win now and sacrifice futur ? It work well in 2009...

I agree with you 100% that D takes more time to develop but do you get my point? I think he could be a great shut down D but I doubt he could bring any offense.... I’ve seen him play at the world juniors in Montreal back in 2017 and he was dominant but he was nowhere near as good when he played in ahl and struggled a lot in the NHL

Yes agree he wont become a Chabot but if he becomes a RHD Vlasic we would regret trading him. Like we still regret a previous trade for Gomez !
Edit : I dont meen to be irrespecful in my previous post sorry if I did

Trading away one prospect not all of them jesus way to exaggerate buddy and then what if our window isn’t now let’s wait another 4-5 years when price is 37 and Weber has a cane and can’t skate then what all of a sudden all your prospect are superstars? not all prospects pan out.... if juulsen is part of the core that’s weak at least put brook who won D of the year in the whl instead of juulsen no?

For one trade that didn’t pan out for us how many trades have we seen where. Prospect was traded for a player and the so called prospect didn’t even play a game or more than. 1year? I mean IMO it’s a small sacrifice and I’m not sold of him but I respect your opinion so let’s just agree to disagree on that one?

Other than that what’s your take on the other trades what would you do this summer?

Times to go to bed for me maybe tomorrow (with a great sleep) we could continue the talk. Agree to disagree totally ok. Also English isn't my first language so devellopping my ideas properly is a challenge wink
