well, let me just say that first off I don't know where you heard these rumors, but I don't believe them. It would be a really, really really bad idea. Then the idea that Hayes in would mean Krejci out? Well that's a pretty brutal trade isn't it? I don't think it would mean that. I think it would mean Backes out. Let's just talk about the merits of Hayes in Krejci out.
1. The Hayes kids just have too much fun in this town. I know kevin isn't Jimmy, but Jimmy got to boston and within a couple years had snorted his career away. I just wouldn't take that chance again. They've got too many bad influences in this town.
2. Hayes has...1 20 goal season in his career.
3. Krejci just popped 73 points did you say? Hayes doesn't have a 50 point season in his career.
4. Hayes is a really good 3rd line center. If he's your 2C, you're in trouble.

No, that would probably mean Backes Miller and Moore are out, coyle moves to 2RW and Hayes plays 3C. I don’t want to see them try to do this under the cap though.
