That's really not true though is it. I've never seen a player left out to dry by his teammates as often as Risto. You can't underestimate how poor the Sabres were under Housley last season.

Regardless, Tony nearly tripled Risto's WAR value this season, is younger and will most likely cheaper

My son and I were discussing how that was a steal for the Rangers. RHD are selling really low right now. Betterall picked up Montour for the 29th OA and Guhle. As a Sabre's fan if that is the going price for RHD, I hope Betterall keeps Ristolainen, there is no rush to trade him, unless it is a lot better than this offer (I am not saying it is not fair, just that I would hope he would get more than this).
