You're gonna get a ton of **** for this but I like the idea of Trouba. Maybe add a pick to the Jets side instead of our side, but getting a bonafide young top pairing defenseman is always great. Not sure he'd be willing to stay in Chicago though, and I would only do this deal if an extension was already in place.

Gus alone would have got u trouba no need to add a elite prospect and just to rub it in Chicago’s face they got ripped off a 4th, and ima be so pissed off of Chicago drafts another defensman we have so many d man preospects it’s not even funny

Add literally any other prospect to that trouba trade instead of boqvist and change the pick to a 1st or 2nd. Values not far off (overpay by the hawks) but boqvist has to be off the table

Why are you against trading Boqvist? I understand he is a great prospect, but he seems to be a year or two away from the NHL. We could just trade him for a better all around defenseman who is a proven NHL player, and we also replace boqvist with a better prospect in Byram.

His ceiling it too high to trade before youve seen what you really have in boqvist. Plus I think hawks will draft a center
