Assumes we lose Lowry to Seattle. Also I put the cap up to 90 million as I moved the cap up by the projected $3.5 million every year. Could go up by more or less, but that's my ballpark guess.

Guys who could maybe make the team are on LTIR, but they are probably still in the AHL.

ESL needs to be put back together, and will probably happen by this point as Wheeler is getting older. So, putting him back with Little and giving them a young winger in Vesalainen could work. Laine gets this deal after a bridge.

Connor should be able to drive a line at this point, and if Roslovic can show that he's a capable, offensive 2C/3C during his likely bridge deal, this line should be a good 3rd scoring line. Connor-Roslovic and Roslovic-Appleton have each shown chemistry with the Moose, so this line should work. Appleton gives the line some grit, while still being a viable offensive threat.

The 4th definitely depends on the Trouba return, but in this scenario, Zacha gets a change of scenery. He basically replaces Lowry, who we lose to Seattle in this scenario. Copp probably won't improve much, so he gets around what he's gonna get this year.

If Hamonic doesn't want to re-sign in Calgary and really wants to come home, I see him being an option. Severson comes in the Trouba trade. Niku and Poolman will be established by this time, with Stanley pushing them. Samberg should easily get a spot after a year with the Moose as he's by far our best defensive prospect. Berdin should be a capable backup in 2 years.
