Nah I think it fair deal.. and God no on adding Miller it either TJ Gourde Palat or Killorn .. trade as is is good one .strong RD is key missing piece for Tampa and Minnesota gets top 4 D and a top 9 forward .. same trade could be made with 3 or 4 teams .. Buffalo Winnioeg etc .

It probably depends on what you value Sergachev. I made this trade like that because I feel like on this website he gets overlooked quite a lot and underestimated. Reality is he's a 20 yo Dman that already has a 40 points season under his belt, amazing puck movement and great overall offensive instinct + good hockey IQ. His defensive game is developing but has already got a lot better this season. This last season he's been confined to the third pairing and less quality ice time. But if he's given a decent role, he'd definitely thrive IMO. He has a great future ahead of him and (if Tampa will trade him in the future) the team that gets him will have a little gem on its hands

We've talked about Trouba, Karlsson, ... but never about Dumba.. IMO He'd definitely check most of the boxes: RHD (obviously), physical play, great offensively but defensively solid too and also a young leader in the locker room. But I doubt MIN would give him away easily

Only player I think Dumba is moved for on the Bolts is Point, and Tampa isn't trading him.

Edit: Not trying to imply 1 for 1, just that Point would be the piece we'd want in a hypothetical Dumba trade.

He wouldn't trade him for Nylander this past fall, and that was before his rough season. So I don't doubt it, if any team wants Dumba they're going to have to overpay for him.

I lost faith when they traded Granlund for Fiala..yuck. Dumba is a great player with a bright future.

Eh, Granlund wanted $8-9M on an extension and he isn't worth anywhere near that type of money. While I think Fenton should have gotten more than just Fiala, he is still a really skilled player. If he can figure out how to not turn pucks over, 30 goals doesn't seem out of the question. He's still young, so there's time to do that.
