Jeff Skinner had 32 even strength goals this year. The best was Tavares with 37 and he makes 11M. 9M is actually a fair deal

I'm not saying the Skinner deal is good, but what I am saying is that 1) Goals are valued more in terms of money 2) Marner isn't great in his own end 5v5 3) He isn''t near a generational talent.
